All curriculum and instruction at St. Mary's fosters a desire to seek wisdom and truth, the preference for social justice, the discipline to become self learners, the capacity to recognize ethical and moral grounding for behavior, and the responsibility to transform and enrich the world in Gospel values.
Our focus being on growing the "whole" person, we challenge the mind, develop potential, nurture spiritual values, and encourage creativity in a curriculum designed to produce well-rounded, college ready adults. In our Early Childhood (EC) classrooms we minister to the whole child - mind, heart, and hands. In a trusting Catholic environment, we enable the child to grow spiritually, emotionally, socially, physically, and intellectually. Awakening the child's innate desire to learn, we foster creativity and excitement about learning by facilitating a stimulating environment. We understand each child's uniqueness in personality and learning styles. We create for the early learner opportunities to discover, explore, question, and succeed. Above all, our setting nurtures the child's spiritual relationship with God and caring attitude toward others.
Our Early Childhood (Pk3, Pk4, and Kindergarten) curriculum includes:
